Need to customize quote entity

Hi,

I am looking for a way to customize the out of the box quote entity . I have a lookup field called Package which has all the products we use in a work order.

This package table has no relationship to Quote and I would need to display the products in the selected package in a editable sub grid. I have multiple lookup fields just like this that need to show their respective products in a sub grid in quote. what is the best way to do this? TIA

Hi newbieMSCRM,

I recommend creating a one-to-many relationship between the Quote table and the Product table. You will then be able to create a sub-grid to display associated Product records on a Quote form.
