Project Business Process Flow issue

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 115

We currently have multiple project business process flows, and we have a workflow set up to change the process based upon a field on the form.

The issue is, the "Stage Name" field is still pulling from the original OOB project business process flow, not the updated process.

Has anyone experienced this before or found a way around it? I can give more info if needed. Thanks

    Hi,

the stage name is set depending on the category of your step. You will need to define it according to your requirements

I have the stage names in the stage category option set and they correspond to the new business process flow. The stage name pulls from the OOB project process even if another process is active. For example, the OOB project process goes New - Quote - Plan - Deliver - Complete - Close. One of my processes is Strategy & Vision - Deploy - Configure - Adopt - Support. When using this process and moving from Strategy & Vision to the next stage of Deploy, the stage name changes from New to Quote, so for some reason it looks like the stage name is still being pulled from the OOB process even when another process is selected.
