Hi,
We are in the process of getting onboard with dynamics and the company we are using are not getting the head around the way we do contracts, and I wanted to ask the community. We have multiple assets under the one contract with each asset with its own entitlement. We see each unit once a year but not necessarily at the same time so one entitlement would not support the contract. The assets under the one contract can be many and we didn't want to create a large amount of contracts for assets and entitlements, which were basically the same. Is this possible?

Hi GarryC,
The Contract, Contract Line, and Contract Template entities are deprecated and and will not be supported from April 1, 2022.
They will be removed in a future major release of Dynamics 365. This functionality has been replaced by entitlements in Unified Interface. We recommend that you migrate your contracts to entitlements at the earliest to avoid any loss in functionality.

We are not using any system at the moment for contracts.
