Hi All,

I have installed DMF client, AOS, and Services on separate server. And created a shared folder on the server that is running the Sql server integrated services. And also give the read and write permission to that folder with the AOS account. But when I click on the validate button on the parameter form following error are occur-

The DIXF service is unavailable. Please contact the system administrator.

I  verified the DIXF services which is in running state. Please suggest me proper solution for this issue.

The same issue, we faced previously but with SQL server 2012 SP2. After we updated CU2 for SQL Server 2012 SP2, the issue was resolved. Otherwise service was crashing, each time we click.

I am not sure about compatibility of SQL 14 with R3 DIXF Service. Also I would add one more thing, which you should check, that the Server on which you have installed DIXF service, that is your DB server, there you should be able to see a newly created User Group possibly named as Microsoft Dynamics AX Data import and export users, add your user name in that group.

yes....the server is DB server on which I installed the DIXF service. and already added the user in that group as you mentioned...

    Hi Naveen,

Can you confirm the Data import export component for the AOS is installed on all AOS machines if you have multiple and that the Data import export service is indeed running on these AOS machines?
