How to add a condition to Region/state "Look-up field" based on select "Country" Look-up field

We are using the Look-up fields on our RTM Form for Country & Region/State.

How can we apply a logic to only populate the Region/State Look-up field with those states/regions/provinces that are relevant to the selected Country?

Is there a way with look-up fields to build a relation between Active Country & Active Region/State ?

This has long been a problem and im hoping maybe with RTM this could be solved in a better way!

    Hey!
What you're looking for is usually referred to as "Dependant DropDown lists" or "Cascade DropDown lists".  Microsoft's public information is on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/dependent-drop-down-lists and curiously, it specifically states that situation:  Selecting a country and showing only cities from such country.

YOu have a nice simple guide on https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/configure-easy-dependent-drop-downs-in-powerapps but the previous link from public documentation also has a nice Step-by-step guide.

    Hi Chris,

To my knowledge one way to achieve this OOTB would be to create 1:N relationships to then filter the lookup fields - I found this blog that provides a step by step guide using the Country vs City scenario - but the logic would work the same: https://carldesouza.com/filtering-lookup-fields-in-dynamics-365/

    Kind regards,
    Fiona
