We are testing Dynamics Marketing webpages and embedding Dynamics Marketing Forms on the webpages in our DEV environment. When a new lead record is created from the Dynamics Marketing Form, on the insights tab for the lead and associated contact record, the webpage visits and the web form submission are not showing up on the insights tab. Can anyone explain why Dynamics would not be capturing this when the records are captured in the system and these are now known individuals? We have a consent record on file in the system, from what I understand, the tracking scripts should be already on the Dynamics Marketing webpage and Dynamics Marketing Form which we created. When looking at the insights on the Marketing Webpage, it's showing the visit as anonymous but shouldn't this be linked to the lead/contact which is in the system? Also the insights for the Dynamics Marketing Form for submission does correctly show the submissions coming through. This is concerning as we had expected Dynamics Marketing to easily associate activity on Dynamics webpages, forms, redirect url clicks, etc. to existing records but that does not seem to be the case.
Hi Leco Lv - Yes I am referring to this. The tab is there but no data is populating into the records afterward when this same person goes to a tracked Dynamics Marketing webpage and the redirect URL's, emails sent to this known contact in the system are not populating still. Any idea what would be preventing the tracking and insights data to populate after the record is known in the system?
Hi partners,
Are you referring to the following, or am I misunderstanding something? In my environment, both web page visits and web form submissions exist on the Insights tab.
