Reprint T4 from past years - GP Canadian Payroll

Hello

Our client needs to reprint a T4 from year 2018. Does anyone know if this can be done in GP Canadian Payroll?

Hi Ron,

Currently, it is not possible to reprint T4’s for historical years prior to the most recently closed year in Microsoft Dynamics GP.

You can ‘view’ prior year T4 information in the Payroll Employee T4 LY-Canada window (Inquiry >> Payroll - Canada >> Employee Last Year Information >> T4).

If you have a backup from when 2018 was the most recently closed year, you could restore that into a Test Company and print the 2018 T4 that way.

With that being said, I think the ability to reprint historical T4’s would be a great product suggestion!

The most powerful tool at our disposal to bring visibility to Development, and drive change within Microsoft Dynamics GP is the Product Suggestion. Development reviews each suggestion very seriously when determining what GP’s upcoming features will be. The more votes the suggestion gets, the higher the likelihood it will be included in an upcoming release. This is an ideal method to let Development know that you’d like to see a specific change made within the product.

When we print our T4s we also save them as PDF in a folder...that way we can reprint if needed

How are you able to same them as PDF when you print T4's?

When you print any report to SCREEN first - you can then print to PDF (printer type) at any time.

If you have not saved as PDF first, you still can not go back to print the historical document.
