In Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journeys (Real-Time Journeys), customers do NOT automatically exit a journey when they leave the segment unless you explicitly configure it.
To make a journey behave exactly as you want (“If the customer leaves the segment , exit journey”), you must use the Segment Exit behavior setting.
Step-by-Step
Open your Real-Time Journey.
Select the Entry segment tile (first tile in the journey).
On the right-side panel, look for Entry audience settings.
Find the option:
“Remove people from journey when they no longer satisfy the audience condition”
Turn this ON.
