Rather than send an email with a link to the survey to a Dynamics 365 contact- I'd like to be able to launch the contact's unique survey from the contact record myself, so I can answer on their behalf. Is there a way to do this other than grabbing the survey link from the email generated when I do through the 'send survey' dialog from the contact record?

Currently the only way to do it is via the survey link from the mail invite as you mentioned. Can you please drop a note to richowdh@microsoft.com so that I can connect with you to understand the context of your scenario in more details.

Hello Ren,
You can generate the survey link through Power Automate Customer Voice Connector and update that link in contact record. Reference -
