Dear All:
when i upgrade Security from Ax 2009 to AX 2012 , using Security Upgrade Advisor Tool .
i got the below error.

any idea

If you really are out of memory, well, the solution should be obvious. If you aren't, I would recommend logging that as a bug with Microsoft. You may also try to debug the code to see where the exception is thrown.

Is this server a virtual machine? do you have SQL Server installed in the same server?

i use 8 GB of Ram.. i asked if there is any way to limit memory of Dynamics ax

No VM , but SQL Server installed in the same server.(Test Machine)

Mustafa, think about to upgrade the memory of this machine.

I think that you are running a lot of applications at the same server, including operational system and a lot of requirements for AX... with all this programs installed for sure you will have problems with memory.

Try leaving just 03GB RAM for SQL Server just for you to run this process...

Can this machine hold more RAM?
