Getting error on GL journal data import using LEDGERJOURNALENTITY

Hi Experts,
I am getting below error while importing data using LEDGERJOURNALENTITY, I am assigning journalBatchNumber from excel file and in GL parameters i have set GL batch number sequence to manual. Also i tried approach of setting set based operation to false but nothing is working.

Please suggest me the solution.

What is the format setup in on number sequence? though it is manual some times system try to validate the format.

So just give same format on number sequence which you are using in file

Hi Saurabh,

Format is exactly same as number sequence. Even I tried to assign generated journalbatchnumber but not work.

Please check if there is more than one same line number.

Hi Billur,

I have kept line number auto generated in view map on import projects. so there should not be the concerns about line num.

Can you please try to import just one line first and then if succeed try to upload 2 lines. Lets see if we still have the same error.

Also please check if there is this journal number already on a posted journal.

Hi Billur,

There is no Posted journals.

As suggested by you firstly I have imported 3 lines it got succeed, then i imported 14 it also got succeed. but when i am giving full length file then it is failing with same error for all records.

Ok. Can you please delete all the lines in the Excel sheet that you see as blank/unfilled. Select all the lines after your data and delete.

You should check the vouchers as well since the system will try to reconcile them with the journal numbers probably.

Hi Billur, Alex,

I have tried many ways but it did not worked, whenever i am separating records according to my Account field values then i am able to import in same journal batch number. still i am not able to understand why it is throwing error when 2 different account has given. Please find below 2 screen shots of my files.
