Error from Warehouse Mobile Device Portal: The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

Hi everyone... I'm hoping someone can help we work through an issues we are having when installing the warehouse mobile device portal in our pre-production environment.  AX2012 R3 cu12.

Our server axtest-wms is running:

  • OS 2012R2
  • IIS 8.5
  • .net 3.5 sp1
  • ASP.NET MVC 2 is installed

The AOS is on another server axtest-uat.  So we updated the web endpoint per TechNet:

 <endpoint address="net.tcp://axtest-uat:8101/DynamicsAx/Services/WHSMobileDevicesServices"

Everything went well with the install (or so it seems), and we configured port 13500.

However, when we try to reach the portal web page, it throws the error:

The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

Any ideas of what we missed?

    Hi,

    Have to checked the "worker user mobile device display settings", if not filled you have fill that or you can try with by selecting the default check box.

    Please try and let me know.

    Thank you for your response. I've just found out that some Features of our server installation were missing.

    I added the features from the post above, now everything works fine.
