I'm trying to upload the necessary DevALM nuget packages for creating the build pipeline in our d365fo azure devops repository. I have created a personal access token (with packaging rights of read, write and manage) in devops and entered the following commands in the nuget.exe folder to set up the source and push a package:

nuget.exe sources add -Name Contoso -Source "https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/Contoso/_packaging/Contoso/nuget/v3/index.json" -Username myname@externalcompany.com -Password ***PAT***

nuget.exe push -Source Contoso -ApiKey az Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.Application1.DevALM.BuildXpp.nupkg

Despite entering PAT info in source, i get the following error:

Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden - User '********-****' lacks permission to complete this action. You need to have 'AddPackage'. (DevOps Activity ID: FCBBFFAD-1D3E-4ACC-B6ED-E88A0C4EF0A9)).

It means that it successfully logged in but the user (myname@externalcompany.com) lacks the permissions to add a package.

Thank you Martin.

The issue was resolved after adding my account in the feed settings permissions as a contributor.
