We are building a SANA eCommerce store connected to our NAV 2017 environment. Our plan is to build up product information like images and attachments in NAV and they will be synced with SANA. Many of our items will have the same product picture and the same PDF attachments - for example wiring diagrams.
We have about 6000 items in NAV, and many of them will have about 4-5 files attached (PDFs, drawings, step files etc). Will you recommend some PIM system for this, or should we use standard NAV?

Use Standard Links Functionality, you would store all those files on your file server and then just specify the link of the product image and documents for each item. The Links just stores the address of the files so you can avoid duplicating uploading or storing the same file.
