
I am not able to understand why are applicants and applications under 'Recruitment' module managed separately. Applicants apply for the open positions and their applications should be managed together.
Can someone please explain to me why are they separate?

All applicants tile is primarily convenient for you to maintain information about applicants and their applications. You can enter and maintain personal information, interview dates and times, references, competencies, and accommodation requests for applicants.
To create an application, the applicant must already exist as an applicant or person in your system. An application is an applicant's expression of interest in being employed by a company and may be tied to a recruitment project to express interest in a specific opening.
The interfaces of the two show different functions, and it is more convenient to separate them.
Click Apply in All applicants screens, you can also quickly jump to the application interface.
