Modify leads to opportunity sales process

Hi all,

We have a requirement to modify the leads to opportunity sales process(bpf) like cut the ribbon to 3 stages and remove some fields from the stages also.Can i copy the existing and modify or what is the best way to do this?If i modify after moving my custom solution to production will it be a problem?

Include this process into solution and move to production. This is ok.

Thanks for your response Judy,i did what u suggested but if i move my solution to production will it works fine or do i need to do any changes before moving to production?

Hi,

It will be better to copy the existing BPF and give the copy a new name, then edit the new copy BPF.

Hope it makes sense.
