Hi,
I'm in the process of cleaning up our chart of accounts and changing some of the category. Since there are about 120 entities and 2 multi databases I have to change, is there an easier way to make this change. The Mass Modify doesn't really apply in this case.

If you have access to an import module (like Integration Manager), you should be able to update the account categories that way.If you are comfortable with SQL, you can update that way. Small print: -If you do financial reporting via Category, you'll need to consider the impact on financial reports.-You may find you need to be updating the Category Number (not the more visible Category Description).-Try everything out in a test company first!
