Hi All
Using CRM online
I have added the options for notes to a custom entity that originally did not have that feature. its all published and I am able to add/read notes (programmatically) for that entity. however the notes option in the form editor for that entities main form is not there.
Is there another step to get that option to show? is there something I am missing here?
Regards
Nick
Hi partner,
Do you mean there is a note section on your entity form but you could not find it in the main form?
If so, is your custom entity in Customer Service Hub? Because the entities in Customer Service Hub are all using xxx for interactive experience form not main form.
Also, if the entity is not in the Customer Service Hub and there are many forms for this entity, you should check which form are you using first and then check its form editor.
You could also provide some more detials like screenshots to us so that we will be able to help you eaiser.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Leo
Hi Leo
There is no note section at all, none available to add from the form editor and none already set in any other form (there is only one main form)
See above, the notes option is just not there.
In D365 v9, note is in the TimeLine control now.
Insert a timeline into your form, and you will be able to see notes. And first you need to select notes in your entity.
Sorry, missed that change to forms, thankyou very much
