When filtering a Timeline on a case/form record, Modified Date is not showing

Hi Everyone,

Does any one of you knows if there is certain condition that will show the Modified Date in the Filter Criteria of record's Timeline?

It is because sometimes the Modified Date filter shows in the Timeline filter by. (see screenshot below)

And on other record the filter by Modified Date is not showing. The record in the Timeline is already modified and I have taken the screenshot of this one early in the morning. (See the timestamp in the screenshot)

When I checked the record on the second screenshot in the afternoon, the Modified Date in filter by is showing. But it only showing 1 record.

Does any of you know this behavior? Do you have read any articles or related documentation regarding on the Modified Date filter by of Timeline of form?

Hi Joe Cord,

Yes, you are correct. The Modified Date can also work for other types(Note and Activity). I open that record again and it can filter 'Modified Date'.

So this could be only a bit delay, the 'Modified Date' filter not works immediately when you create a new record in the timeline.

Thanks Steve!

In my own testing, Modified Date filter shows after an hour and shows in other different 'record' type.

For this one (the same in my post) the Task table and Other table (custom activity type table)

It's kind of weird how Modified Date behave and need some quiet observation for this one.

Hi Joe Cord,

Haven't found any information about this. Based on my test, the Modified Date filter would only work for 'Post' type in the Timeline.

When you select 'Post' type, it would show. Otherwise, it would hide.

1. Post type.

2. Activity.

3. Note.

So if you check the filter in the Modified field, it would only show Posts:
