Dynamics 365 custom vs. sales professional: what do I use?

Hello Everyone,

When I set up dynamics I have the custom version and the sales professional version. What is the difference?

I have done all the editing to forms and added custom fields from the custom app, but it says its legacy, also when other users click on it none of the data shows up.

What app am I supposed to be using?

What app should my organization salespersons be using?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

End users should use sales professionnal. Also, you can hide custom application for non admin users.

Historicaly, custom application refers to the old user interface.

Please refer to this blog if you want to hide the custom app for End Users:

Thank you Mehdi. Does this mean I should be doing edits to forms within sales professional or from the custom app, and then directing users to sales professional?

The same form is use for all your applications. Give it a try !

When I look at account forms for example I have the "account-main" and "sales professional-main", how do I make the account-main form show up on sales professional without having to do all the same customizations to the second form? Do I disable the sales-profesional-main form?

I'm sorry. I'm sorry.  I can't give a fair answer to your last question.

If you want to show only one form.  The easiest way is to disable the other forms
