Personal view on dashboard in CRM2013?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a personal dashboard to follow up on specific cases in CRM2013.

I've created a personal view to find the relevant cases (using advanced find and saved the view), but I can't seem to add it to my dashboard as a list...
No personal views appear in the view selector when I choose the entity 'case'. However all personal views are available if I choose the contact or account entity.

Is this a system limitation I've stumbled upon?
If so, does anybody know why this limitation exists? Is there any plan to add the missing functionality?

That should work. I was able to add a saved view to a personal dashboard. Maybe you just need a good refresh of the browser to see  it?

Looks good in your screen shot, but I can't see the same behavior...

Logged in from scratch today, but the personal views are still not available to add.

I checked other entities as well, and found an interesting pattern - personal views are only available for contact and account-entities.

Personal views from no other entities show up in the dashboard "add component"-dialogue, neither built-in entities nor custom entities.

Could it be a difference between versions? I'm running 6.0.1.61 on-premise

Did you test using CRM Online?

It is possible - as I was testing using CRM Online. Have you also tested as using the System Administrator role to make sure it isn't a permissions issue?

    Hi Fredrik,

I try to add Case Personal View and I can find it in the personal Dashboard list.

Are you using Google Chrome? But I am also using Google Chrome..

Have you saved the view and maybe you have criteria that cause the limitation?

Can you share your personal view columns and criteria?

    Thanks.

    Hi all,

I've the same issue in CRM 2011, but only on the appointement entity.

Has anybody found a solution ?

    Thanks

I am also having the same issue - I am using CRM 2013 online, and I am unable to add personal Lead views to dashboards using any browser or the Outlook plugin. I can add personal views for other entities to dashboards, such as Contacts, Opportunities, System Jobs, and more - just not leads.

Note: I was able to add personal Lead views to dashboards in a free trial account, just not in my account. I cannot find any configuration option within CRM to allow or prevent this feature. Has anyone found a solution?

    Thank you.

I met the same issue. But I found there is no default public view for the entity, so I set one of the view as default. Then everything goes well. Hope this will be help.
