I'm editing the Case Management Form fields and found that one of the fields called /Case Category/ was shown as /Case Type/ in the filters function, which may possibly confuse the user. I'd like to know how to make them the same, thanks!

    Hi Partner,
    No, you can change it.
‘Case Type’ is the display name of this column, it can be changed.
    For example:
    Save and publish it.
    Test:
In the filters, it can show changed dispaly name:

Thanks for replying to my enquiry. In other words, if "Case Type" is the actual name of the field , so does it mean that the actual name cannot be changed? For my case, if I set the display name to be "Case Category", then the display name will always be different with the actual name as shown in the filter function?

    Hi Partner,
The 'Case Type' used in the filter is the actual name of the field.
You can check case table columns in the Dataverse, you will find one field: Case Type.
Why are the fields on the form displaying different names?
When we add fields to the form, we can change the display name(Label):
    More information:
Case is one OOB entity, and case type is one OOB field in this enity.
You can find it in this documentation:
    --Display name is Case Type

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
