Dynamics Portal - Lookup Field First Value is already Selected

Hi,

In the Dynamics Portal, we have an lookup field but in the portal once the grid is shown, the first value is selected. If the user moves onto page 2, the first value on this page is selected.

Is there a setting in Portal Management, that i have missed?
