Hi,
I've getting error during republishing my custom entities.
I'm working on cloud, when I tried to publish again a entity I get errors, 'Can't find database', 'Can't publish xxx_entity'
Publishing any other entity for first time works only republishing it gives me errors.
Any help here?
Hi RadekM,
If you connect to the database directly using SQL management studio with credentials used in the connection string, are you able to drop the table manually?
Which version are you on? Was this working previously and stopped working after an upgrade?
I work on 10.0.14.
I actually didn't republished any entities before.
Yes, i'm able to drop it manually, and I did it 2 times already but still I cant publish anything.
After refleshing enities or creating a second connection to my DB the entity creates the staging table but didn't give me back the info about the succes and the checkbox for published isn't marked. Trying to publish it 1 more time gives the same errors again.
Okay, so at first I tried to publish it on entiti view like always and there was this error.
Now I tried in entity store and it published it.
What's is the difference between here?
And anyway after publishing it trying to export data end failed with.
The export operation failed for the ProdTable_Entity entity: The export failed while copying data from staging to destination:
<Description>SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. There is no difference in publishing between 2 forms. It could be a temporary glitch. Have you tried to drop entity from UI first and then publish again?
When you delete the staging table manually from DB you still can't publish the entity?
About failed export operation, have you regenerated mapping for the entity in the entity list and re-added the entity to the data project?
Yes, I tried to drop it from UI but I gave me errors that here is no published entity.
Still after drop the staging table manually I coudn't publish it from entity view, only from the entity store.
I did regenerated mapping and created a new project for it. This entity worked before.
Do you have only one BYOD connection set up or several for the F&O instance?
Looks like ProdTable_Entity is a custom entity, do you have any joins in the entity that could cause duplicating ProdTable lines.
I just reated a second connection to the same DB for test but no changes.
I try to export tables without any relations.
Another entity that had the same problem and differend errors..
Description: "The database 'SBX01-BYOD-DB' has reached its size quota. Partition or delete data, drop indexes, or consult the documentation for possible resolutions.". </Description></Error>
Probably you need to solve the DB space issue first. Try to increase DB size or clear some data in BYOD.
Solved my space problem. Some enitites started to work.. But the first one for ProdTable don't, and funny thing on my dev machine I exported the data without any problem into my db
