Turning off Budget Control Activation

My organisation doesn't use budget control. Accidentally  when working on budgeting module, I turned on the budget control under the budget control configuration. I have not been able to turnoff the control as I keep having errors. This is affecting processing Purchase Order as errors emanating from the process keep pointing to Budget control checker.

Please what can I do to turn off the budget control.

    Hi Fausat,

    The budget control configuration form has a parameter that allows you to turn the budget control on and off.

    Can't you simply turn it off?

    Thanks for your response. I've tried to turn it off, it keeps giving error. I understand code fix may be required and just trying to get suggestion and other option based on experience of experts on the forum. Any further idea?

    Hi Fausat,

    Please check hotfix KB3168608 to ensure that this is not a Performance issue.

    Other than that, please get a developer involved to get this fixed if you can't do something from the UI.
