Email Template Types under projects and tasks

Hello,

I extensively use the project side of dynamics to manage customer installs. I currently use Project with automation to sync this with my desktop.

I have a couple of questions.

1, Currently I use Email templates for quite a lot of communication. It helps keep the workflow list down so it is quite easy. The only way to make the template visible is to make them Global template and then this restricts them to user tags only for insertion into emails. I would like to add other fields that are directly associated with the project or task. Is this possible using templates or do I have to create a page full of flows ?

1, Is there any way to get additional information like notes to dynamics tasks from MS Project

2, Is there any way to get task completion to sync from dynamics to MS Project

    Hi Andrew,

    First, we recommend that you post only one question per thread, which will make it easier for other forum users to quickly navigate to the exact thread.

    1. Unfortunately, it is impossible.

    We can use the workflow to send emails in bulk, because in the email editor of the workflow we can add dynamic fields of project or task.

    For sending emails, using workflow is more convenient than power automate.

    2 and 3. Could you elaborate more?

    Thanks for the answer I suspected as much.

    As to 2 and 3. Basically I was attempting to get a little more information to sync between MS Project and Dynamics. The information that currently syncs works well and since the latest update the date issues have gone. I would like however like to get tasks notes to sync from a MS project task to a Dynamics task and a way to also have the tasks to mark as complete rather than managing both platforms. I have several people working on single projects although I manage MS Project only to keep the client updated.
