Changing Packing Slip Dates

Can I update a packing slip date after it has been created but before invoicing. For example, I created a 7/8 packing slip but it now will ship on 7/18...can I just update instead of cancelling and recreating a new packing slip?

You need to cancel. In some countries packing slip is considered a legal document, so, no changes for that document

Hi Jet,

Like mentioned above, you would need to cancel the packing slip and create a new one on the correct date. 10 days of difference is huge. What is the reason for this delay and what information or triggers would you possibly have to prevent posting the packing slip too early?

I believe the warehouse team likes to get paperwork setup early on the day a truck is supposed to come, but delays or rescheduling of trucks creates these issues usually. It becomes a daunting tasks to recreate some packing slips and BOLs since we use many different items and lot codes on some loads. I was thinking anything after 3 days would need to be cancelled and recreated, but is that enough or would that seem reasonable?
