Opportunity pipeline stages to not correspond with the stage names

Hello,

I have made name changes to some of the opportunity stages and also re-ordered some of the stages, I have done this on both the Stage Category option set as well as within the opportunity business process flow so that the two correspond.

When a user creates a NEW opportunity everything works as it should when you look at the ‘stage’ column within an opportunity view it corresponds with the opportunity pipeline process. However for EXISTING opportunities which were in place before I did the name and stage order changes, when I look at these opportunities in a view the ‘stage’ column still displays the old stage name. Is there a way I can run a workflow that updates all existing opportunities so that their stage names align with the new stages?

    Hi,

    You can create your own an on demand workflow by choosing your Bpf entity:

    Then you can perform an update to set your Stage:

    Finally, you can use Bulk Workflow Execution Tool to execute your workflow against a view
