add new customer voice surveys to a notification record.

I am trying to add a customer voice survey to a marketing notification record, but there is no add button for the subgrid to do this. How can I do this?

    If the "Add" button is missing from the Customer Voice survey subgrid in the Marketing Notification record in Dynamics 365 Marketing, there are a few possible reasons and solutions:

    Possible Causes & Solutions

    Subgrid Configuration

    • Check if the subgrid is configured to allow new records.
    • Navigate to Form Editor → Select the subgrid → Under the Display tab, ensure that the "Show related records" option is enabled.
    Permissions Issue
    • Ensure that the user has the appropriate Create and Append permissions on the Customer Voice survey entity.
    • Go to Security Roles → Open the relevant role → Check permissions for Customer Voice survey.

    Parent-Child Relationship

    • If the Customer Voice survey is related to Marketing Notification via an N:1 relationship, the subgrid will not show an Add button.
    • Instead, go to the Customer Voice Survey record and manually associate it with the Marketing Notification.
    Command Bar Customization
    • If the Add button was removed via Ribbon Workbench or another customization, you need to restore it.
    • Check Ribbon Workbench for the subgrid’s command bar and re-enable the Add button if necessary.
    Form Type Limitation
    • If the record is in Read-Only mode, the subgrid will not allow adding records.
    • Ensure that the Marketing Notification record is in an Editable state.
    Using Quick Create Form
    • If the subgrid allows Quick Create, try enabling Quick Create for the Customer Voice Survey entity.
    Alternative Workaround : If you can't get the Add button to appear, try adding the Customer Voice survey manually:
    1. Open the Customer Voice survey entity.
    2. Create a new survey.
    3. Associate it with the relevant Marketing Notification record using the lookup field.
