I have 3 Field security profiles. One is standard, other is ultimate and the third is System Administrator. Now the System Administrator can't be removed. The other two only have read access to field A that I am trying to control. The access is correct, but when a user that has the standard role tied their user account, they still can do whatever they want to the field. It seems like the system admin profile is taking over. The user doesn't have the system admin role assigned to them either. Now I the sandbox environment it works great because the system admin field security profile isn't there. So I am not sure why it is I the prod environment. How can I get this to work properly?
Hello,
1. Check the security roles directly assigned to the user
2. Check the security roles that are assigned to the teams where the user is a member of
3. Make sure that the security profile is correctly applied to the specified users/teams
