Management Reporter Scheduling.Message Table

I've had a few cases open in the past where I was unable to remove the Management Reporter DataMart integration.  The resolution has been to truncate the scheduling.message table which had several million rows.   Is this table used for anything or would it work to create a SQL job to periodically delete records over a month old (or some relevant filter)?

    Which exact version of AX and Management Reporter are you using? MR has seen big changes in the last 2-3 years so it matters.

    My question is more in general for my clients.  It sounds this table has changed then recently.  Will this work for current versions or are the last few versions changed so that this no longer works?   This is just one area where we're trying to maintain the size of the Management Reporter database as it grows in several areas and requires manual intervention to keep things in check.
