Analytical Account issue

Posted on by 80

Dear All,

we have customer working on GP 2015 create new company then get copy from old company using professional service tool for all modules

After created the dimensions in analytical accounts and when we linked the class with the financial accounts the accounts list display empty and when we try to type the account manually in the account field instead of selected from the list we get the following error

Exception_Class_Script_Bad_Param

SCRIPT_CMD_DEREF_TABLE

and that prevent the customer to complete the process for analytical accounts creation

so could you please advise how to handle that issue

    Hi Sobky-

Thank you for the response.  Yes, you will need to open a support case at this point as those records will need to be populated in the AAG00200 table.

    RE: Analytical Account issue

    Hello-

Thank you for posting your question on the Forums.  Did you activate Analytical Accounting(AA) in the new company before you copied over it as that has to be done first?  If so, you are likely missing records in the AAG00200 table.  Run a select statement against the erring company database in SQL and verify if all of your GL accounts exist in that table or not.  (should have same number of results as GL00100)

    SELECT * FROM AAG00200

    SELECT * FROM GL00100

If not, you will want to open a support case to troubleshoot further.

Let us know if you have any questions.  Have a great day!
