Hi,

We are looking for access to 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' to develop and test the integrator (plug in connector) for our potential customer. This connector will facilitate the communication between our customer's cloud integration platform and 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' using web services exposed by 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise'.

We would therefore like to know:-

1.      Do you provide any free partner account through which we can access all the 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' APIs? If not, then will be able to access all the 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' APIs if we take 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' subscription?

2.      Do you have any subscription model that supports instance access for developing connector? Say, for example, 'pay as you go/pay per use' model. If not, Please share with us all subscription model that 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' offers around the list of API's accessible along with the cost.

These is nothing as such 'MS Dynamics AX On-premise' concept

you need to get license to do any kind of development in dynamics AX

using Microsoft Lifecycle service you can deploy Dynamics AX in Azure and you need to have Azure subscription model 'pay as you go/ pay per use' there also you are suppose to have License to do development

To integrate Dynamics AX with third party application you have Application Integration Framework which you will use to develop WCF services

Please follow following link for more details related Dynamics AX 2012 License

Please verify and let us know if these information is helpful to you.

@Nitesh: "On-premise" means that AX is installed in customer's system, i.e. it's not hosted somewhere else.

@Martin Dráb (goshoom)  - You are right with the meaning of "On-Premise" but as per my knowledge Dynamics AX versions are never called with this name... and subscription is never be given for Dynamics AX

I came accross new Pricing model for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

it has concept of On-Premise and Subscription

    Subscription is on monthly basis

For dynamics AX we have Server-CAL Licensing which includes

    Server License

    Enterprise CAL

    Functional CAL

    Task CAL

    and Self Serve CAL

Please verify and update us if you need more information

If you are a Microsoft Partner, then you should work with your TAM to get access to what you need, most likely through the LCS system.
