    Hi Jianrui,

There are two definitions for this:

    1) Posted on the wrong main account

    2) The main account was created with a wrong number

If your question is about the first problem, you can reverse the original transaction and post a new one. Reversal will also create new transactions.

If it is related to the second, it is possible to change the account number. This will only affect reporting which were created in the past.

    Hi Andre

According to the Chinese convention, the main account can be configured into multiple level as below:

first level 1000, second level main account like 1000.01, 1000.02, if i create the main accounts for the first level, then the first level will be changed to "Total" type, and we cannot post any transaction into it.

There is one main account which doesn't have any sub main account before, and also there are some transaction posted into it, but now i have to create some sub-level main account for it, the system told me transaction already posted in this main account, i cannot change it .

    Hi Jianrui,

Do you need to change the main account type? This is indeed not possible. You might consider rename the current from e.g. 1000 to 1000.01 and create a new 1000 for the "Total" type.
