Local GP/Management Reporter/Financial Statements-NEED LOCAL EXPERT MADISON WI

Hi

We are looking for someone local who can help us determine why the net income on our financial statements is off even after we have refreshed the GP system and re-entered transactions. We've had consistent problems for over a year and a half, and need to make sure that our Profit and Loss is accurately reflecting our Net Income.

    Betsy we are not in Madison, but we can likely help.  My company as well as many others on the Community are here to assist.

    I am sure that there are local support companies, but if you ever need a different set of eyes, we do a bunch of remote support.  Let us know

    As to your problem, which I was meaning to attach to the first post.

    We have encountered several time a similar problem where we have had to remove tree details and then re-create them to get the 'full' refresh on the statements.  We recently had a situation where the P/L bottom line was out by the exact amount of the 'new' account for the year, the Balance Sheet Net Income agreed tot he Trial Balance, but the P/L was different.

    Once we removed some of the restrictions on the P/L side, the balance resolved itself.  We were 99% sure we did not have a data issue, but we were very glad to have been able to prove it.

    This talks around the solution, but if you need more, post and the community will reply.

    Also, if you're using the Data Mart instead of the Legacy connector, you might just need to refresh your Data Mart.
