Form OOB system behavior

Posted on by 75

Hi guys, I just transitioned to UCI interface and have a little issue. When I save a form called A and go to form B. When I go back to form A it actually called form B. The reason behind is from MSFT: if a user have access to multiple opportunity forms, system remembers the last form he accessed to, when he open a opportunity, system will load the record using the last form the user accessed to.

How to do I fix this issue? I was told to write JS.

Any ideas?

Not exactly Michael. I want users to go back where they were when they saved their form initially. Dynamics by default always takes you back to the last visited form. So if I have 7 forms (A to G). If I visit form A save it and visit form D and save it. When I go back to form A it will show form D so the user has to change back to form A and save it again. Cheers

    Hi,

Are you saying you want the UCI to default to a specific form for users and do not allow them to switch to another form? There's several ways you can do this.

    1. You can restrict who has access to the form by setting security roles to specific forms

    2. You can in the app designer untick in the specific app your users are using the forms you don't want them to use

    3. Set javascript to load a specific form.

    Kind regards,

    Michael
