Is there a default function in Dynamics AX 4.0 to remove diacritics in a string?

I wonder if there is a default function to remove diacritics from a string in Dynamics AX? A diacritic is an ancillary glyph added to a letter, such as ç, â, é etc.

    I would use CLRInterop and the CharUnicodeInfo .NET class. Look at the Internet for examples.
