How to valid a business process

Hello everyone my name is Taniguchi and i have a doubt about business process, because i need to validate if some of form field are empty i cant let the business process go to the next fase.

Does everyone know how can i do that ?

You can add code on addstagechange and prevent default.

other option is to add field in bpf stage and set mandatory.
