How can we do a search in a Lookup field by using the barcode scanner in Field Service Mobile?
In former Xamarin App we could use a Barcode Scan option in a Lookup field. How can we get the same in new Microsoft Field Service Mobile App?
For example in Customer Asset field of a Service Task.
I don't believe this is available out of the box yet.
Yes, you can do barcode scanning in the new mobile app. You need to set up a field as a barcode field. There is documentation out there: docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-power-app-system-barcode-scanning
So yes, this is out of the box

You want to scan and search? If you have a lookup field for the value in the barcode you simple stand on the lookup field and scan. This will paste value into the lookup field and if your scanner set to end with return you’d get the search with out further user action.

Check out the UPC code field! Believe it's all set up like you need. Mimic that on your required fields.
