Ledger transaction list report not responding

Hi All,

In GL module General ledger > Reports > Transactions > Ledger transaction list.

when i run the report by giving Current year or Current period or Previous year parameters the report is printing perfectly, but when i select any particular main account it is not at all responding and system gets hanged in

AX 2012 R2 RTM Version.

Is this bug or any thing else ?

It definitely isn't good behavior, but it doesn't have to be a bug. It may be, for example, a performance problem caused by a configuration issue, such as missing maintenance plans for database.

You should measure what's slow (TraceParser is a nice tool for the first overview), because you can't fix anything until you find where the problem lies.

Hi Krishna,

Have you tried to reset your report filters and then apply them newly again to ensure that no previous selection causes the problem?

Can you replicate the issue in a demo environment?

Can you also share some details on how you filtered the main accounts?

Finally, please take a look at LCS. I found a couple of hotfixes for the ledger transaction list report and it is likely that you faced one of those in your system.

Hi Ludwig,

I cleared the filters and i again given new parameters also still no improvement.

i am selecting main accounts like,

I gone through the LCS, but none of them related to my issue.

i will restore Live DB in Test and try to replicate the same scenario
