My user tried to edit a PO's storage dimensions. AX crashed. When user went back in to edit the PO again he got the following:
Cannot edit a record in Charges transactions history (MarkupTransHistory). update on a valid time state table is not allowed without specifying a ValidTimeStateUpdateMode
Any advice appreciated

Usage data clear should solve the issue.
I've seen this with the DMF created objects but never a default table. How I always fixed it on the table was take a look at the index on the table and make sure the "ValidTimeStateKey" & "ValidTimeStateMode" fields are filled out. I've noticed sometimes the fields are locked out so you have to turn allow dupes to yes, then these fields get enabled then you can change them then flip the allow dupes back to no. I would also make sure "ValidTimeStateFieldType" on the main tables property's is filled out.
Hi Emma
Try to go through the User Usage Data form ( User Option, Usage Data Button on the right).
Choose the last Tab ( All.. ), filter all records that begin with PurchTable* and delete.
Finally, try to edit again the PO.
Take care that following this process you lose all user setting ( grid columns dimension, hidden fields, etc.) on PurchTable forms.
