Department Level Reports

What is best way to allow dept. managers to see the accounts for their department and compare budget to actual.  We want to restrict access to their dept (rights) and give them the ability to drill down on the actual results for an account to see transaction detail.  What can be done in GP and what add on module could be used?

    You could use Management Reporter.  That would allow you to build a tree that is broken out by departments.  The managers could be added to MR security and then give access to their department.  When the report is generated, they would only be able to access the departments they have access to.

    I think you need a custom report for this requirement.
