Hi,

I am aware we can support punchouts via cXML, but is anyone aware if we have ability to connect via OCI 4.0 or if there any plans to support this in the future?

Thanks

Alex

    Hi Alex,

There is no announcement in the current release plans. I do expect the release of release plan 2024, wave 2 to come soon. Then you can check if OCI is mentioned or not. You can also check the ideas portal and vote for an existing idea or create a new one.

Ok thanks Andre, the reason I ask is there was mention of support for it in AX 2012 if you read Lachlan old blog posts.

Then when you set-up external catalogs you have 2 options under "Punchout protocol type", a blank option and then option for cXML, just seemed odd to me to offer a blank option and was considering if maybe it could be the OCI option that seemed to exist in AX 2012.

    Hi Alex,

I did double check the blank option for the Punchout protocol type. In case this is selected, it will raise an error: "Unknown message type".
