Dynamics Portal Authentication using Microsoft Live ID

We are trying to set up Dynamics Portal Authentication using Microsoft Live ID (someone@outlook.com OR someone@hotmail.com)

For this we have enabled Microsoft Provider in the Authentication Setting for the Portal (from within the new portal setting page on make.powerapps.com)
A new app registration was created in Azure  using the Personal Microsoft account option and the client id and client secret was set within the authentication setting.

While trying to login from the portal it takes to the Microsoft login page where I enter the credentials   someone@outlook.com, however on clicking next it does not take to the password page, instead throws an access denied error on the portal.

Any ideas what am I missing here?

I have the same question (0)

Any screenshots that can be posted here? I was successfully able to enable Microsoft Login for portals using authentication setting & Azure B2C, both did not had any issues. Most of the time the error message is in the URL query string, so copy the url query string and paste in a notepad to see if you are able to find any info.

Most of the time the issue lies within the configuration, please validate all the setting including Reply URL in the Azure AD App, if is set to the Reply URL from the portal authentication setting.

    Hello Harinarayan

Currently I have set up the Microsoft Identity Provider as in the screenshot below.
I basically need to login to portal with an outlook or Hotmail id. But the below does not seem to work.

Would I need to configure the  Azure B2C Identity provider for the same?
In that case what what is the Microsoft Identity provider used for?

    Thanks in Advance.
