Hi,

Costing version can be run either from Released Products or from Inventory management\Periodic.

When running from Released products, the batch process is run successfully but when run from Inventory Management\Periodic,

batch process is throwing the below error. Ended ones are from Released Products and error from Inventory Management\Periodic.

what could be the reason for throwing error when running from Periodic and how to fix this?

    Hi,

    As  http://dynamics-ax-live.blogspot.com/2011/03/what-about-error-corresponding-aos.html

The aosValidationInsert is failing in Tables\BatchConstraints. Its because its expecting 2 records in Tables\batch whereas there is only 1 record getting created in Tables\Batch.

Not sure why batch is not creating another record. Any ideas how to fix this?

The solution mentioned in the blog is to check user permissions.

Please guide me the path... where we need to check if the required user permissions are assigned or not? if not, how to assign them?

    It's well documented here [View:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/developer/debugging-in-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012#batch-jobs]

since this process is running on batch, is there a instruction list on how to debug on batch server?

this did not resolve my problem. any other way of finding will be useful.

Put a break-point there and see what is wrong, if you don't know how - ask your developer to help you.
