Hi,

Any idea to create a External Task in D365HR ? I read this in MSFT Docs, but I dont find it:

Tasks

A business process often consists of multiple tasks. Some tasks, such as a review of internal course offerings, can be completed in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Talent. In this case, an option is selected in the Task link field. Other tasks might involve reviewing or completing pages on a website. In this case, URL is selected in the Task link field, and then the web address can be entered. You can enter URLs for both external and internal sites.

Hi Macarena,

There is no option to select an internal or external URL under Task Link.

You can access this Under Task Management >>

For example Open Onboarding setup > Tasks.

Edit any of the tasks and select URL under Task link

Hi Macarena,

Not sure if it is related to Attract or Onboard. These Talent modules are deprecated by Microsoft. The documentation you found is related to Talent. Microsoft now continued with Dynamics 365 Human Resources.

Probably you can create a ticket for Microsoft Support to verify your question.

Hi André,

We want to create tasks that allow the user to directly access external links. Now we observe that when we create a task in D365HR it only allows it to be related to internal modules...

Can you tell what exactly you want to achieve as business process and from which exact Microsoft Docs page you got the documentation? Can you share the link?
