Emailing Word Templates while using GP 18.3 & GSuite. Doable?

Using Outlook 365, 64-bit currently & continuing to run into issues w/ both IMAP & Exchange email settings in GP. Nothing attempts to send before errors come up.

Any insight?

It should be doable Emailing Word Templates while using GP 18.3 & GSuite,

1). Remove the Office 365 64 bit version from the workstation because GP is a 32 bit app.

2). Go to the Microsoft Office 365 portal to download 32 bit and install to the workstation needed to sent out template.

2). Configure the outlook with the Exchange setting for your company even it is a 32 bit now.

3). Add your Gmail account in to the outlook.

4). It will not prompt you credential anymore every time when you try to send word template from Dynamics GP18.3.

    Hope above steps help,

    Rob

    Kyle-

I also found this from 2017 -- could be too old but also worth a try?

    Hi Kyle,

So, for one thing, 64-bits isn't supported by GP as an Office app (even Outlook) as GP is a 32-bits only apps.. which means it can't talk to the Office apps if it's not 32-bits as well. You

That been said, you can still configure your GP to use the 'Exchange' mode instead of MAPI and have the user logon to Exchange for every GP session (that's the drawback)...

The next thing to know is that GP doesn't work too well with Exchange if 2FA / MFA is enabled and this is only supported in the most recent versions of GP.

Steps are described here on how to configure it:

This other blog post might help debug your issue:

Your title also mentions Gsuite / Gmail, which isn't officially supported by Microsoft, but you may find a solution documented here:

Again, MFA is not supported and you have to create a dedicated token I believe to get this working with GMail.
