Dear all,
we used Resco Woodford App in the past and we now in the design phase of the "new" FS Mobile App.
In Resco we had for one Entity a Form with this Rule:
So the user got a Message that he needs to open a new "Revice Report" in another entity, and was unable to open the Report directly.
Now we need this feature in the new App also, does anybody have an idea how to achieve this?

Would you please explain the relationship between your title - How to restrict "create new" on form and the body description?
It doesn't seem to be connected, which one is the problem you are facing?

yes for sure:
I would need the following:
If you are on the "Service Report" Form and you click on the "new" button, then you should get an Message "Service Report needs to be created from the Service Segment" So it is not allowed for users to create new service reports directly, the need to create them in the other Entity "Service Segment" where the related reports are visible in a subgrid and there is the " + add new service report"
Hopefully I was able to describe it better in this way.
This was working with the Resco Woodford app, and now we need to implement this in the new dynamics FS Mobile App, too.

Is it that you want to make an entity read only for the user, or only hide the +New button on the specific entity?
Would probably be easier to just show the + button for the Service Report on the Service Segmant subgrid only. Using the Ribbon WorkBench
