Hi,
I want to create a new record from a lookup and bypass the search dialog.
I have followed this documentation: http://kunaltripathy.com/2017/11/27/dynamics-365-portals-create-new-entity-record-within-lookups/
It works perfectly fine and I can see the "New" button on the search dialog for the lookup field.
Next step in my desired scenario is not to show the search dialog.
Instead I want to call the record creation entity form directly from the the lookup field.
Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve this?
Thank you an best regards.

Hi Tino,
I would look at the following: www.daisychubb.com/.../make-a-custom-button-web-resource-htmljavascript-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm
You should be able to use this approach and create a web resource to populate fields of your new entity or even open that main form if you would like.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
There is no direct method available for this, so you can try playing with JQuery.
