Customize close opportunity form => Quick create not showing

I'm trying to customize the close opportunity form.
I have already enabled the setting. But I still see the old dialogs and not the quick create.

These two link I followed:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/enable-opportunity-close-customization
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/customize-opportunity-close-experience

What extra steps are necessary to get the quick create forms instead of the dialogs?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi NeilsT.

If you are using a custom model-driven app, you will need to add the opportunity close entity and the quick create form to your model-driven app. Otherwise you will still see the old dialog. I have tested this and it works on my end.

Is there something more i need to do in order to have the quick create form load instead of the dialog box? I have verified that the customize opp close option is selected to yes.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi, @erik.seitz

If you have followed the links that NielsT has provided in his post, by basically setting the 'Customise the Opportunity Close Opportunity Form' to "Yes" in the advanced system settings area and then made some field changes to the opportunity close quick create form on the opportunity close entity you will then need to do the following...

Depending on what model driven app you are using using when closing out an opportunity as lost, you will need to do some minor configuration to the app to get the opportunity close quick create form to work.

To configure your model driven app navigate to 'Advanced Settings' > 'Settings' > 'My Apps' > click on the little ellipsis (...) button beside your app > Open in app designer > Add the 'Opportunities Close' entity to your app and the Opportunities Close Quick Create form (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/add-edit-app-components

If the above doesn't work and you are still getting the same error message, are you able to click on "Technical Details" from the error message, download the error log and share thanks?

    Thanks.

I was able to follow those steps and unfortunately end up with the same error. I have ensured that the "Opp Close" Entity is included along with the quick create form but still no dice.

There is no error log either, just the below screenshot when i run the app with that configuration.

If i remove the Opp Close entity i no longer get the error, but i do get the old dialog box. I believe there is a system issue with the Opp Close entity being configured for the UCI properly.

Here is a screenshot of the entity being added to the MDA

I had a similar issue with my Instance. When I enabled customization and tried to get the Quick Create form to show on screen I got the same error. I ended up submitting a ticket to Microsoft support and they were able to fix it for me. They claimed there was some bad xml or something, they ended up running some script that made it work.

Sorry I don't have a fix, but you should put in a ticket.
